Becs Tetley is a
nonfiction writer in Wellington, New Zealand.
Her work explores the messy, complicated parts of being human, including home, family, identity, and the stories that follow us from place to place.

About Becs Tetley
Becs’ essays have appeared in or are forthcoming from Tahoma Literary Review, The Spinoff, Roi Fainéant, Reckon Review, Headland, and elsewhere. She also reviews books for Kete.
She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Auckland University of Technology and is a member of the New Zealand Society of Authors.
Becs is currently working on a memoir about one suitcase, six countries, and nowhere to call home.
Alongside her creative work, Becs is a content and communications specialist in the New Zealand public sector, writing for a number of agencies across government.
She was born in Los Angeles and has lived in Aotearoa New Zealand for nearly two decades. She now calls Wellington home.
